What do you recommend to alleviate sore muscles?

This is such a great sign you are sore! It means you've established the mind to muscle connection!

Usually in your first week of workouts, the soreness will be the worst. Almost like you've been hit by a bus! Below are a few things I recommend to alleviate this soreness:

  • Proper hydration
  • Proper sleep for recovery
  • Stretching before bed, and early in the morning
  • Epsom salt baths
  • Adding Glutamine in your post workout shake
  • Taking an extra rest day
  • Massages
  • Adding a turmeric blend in your post workout shake
  • Taking omega 3, and vitamin D

As the weeks go by, your muscles will get used to the movements you are doing. By week 4 you may realize you aren't as sore! Keep at it, you’re doing great!
